i assume this is about having day running lights.. ...       .             but since these are turn signals, i want the singles correct?

I'm assuming you're referring to turn signals?

The one's with dual have two filaments...  One for regular turn signal operation, and the other for running light operation.

Just like the corner lights on the front of cars.  They light up at night, but they light up even brighter when signal turned on.

so,, , would i want the duals because it would make me more noticable to the cagers. at day and night?

IF I remember correctly, you'll only want singles, duals might not even work if the contact doesn't line up.  I'd just take in the originals and pick up an identcal replacement.
