I've crash tested Icon gear and they have my personal 

I can't say i care too much for most of their jackets looks wise (I got mine on sale LOL) but protection wise they are awesome.

I'm hoping I'll never have to find out...  But, that's part of why I got a leather...  I only have a textile right now...   

I'm also hoping it won't be quite as susceptible to HOT and COLD as mine is...  I know leather isn't all that cool, but neither is my BLACK textile jacket.

The yellow lightening bolts look cool.

And...  You can get about $100-$150 less than retail from sandhills_powersports on ebay...  I got my wife's jacket from them...  They're pretty cool.  (Look for a "Best Offer" auction).

I got it for $315 shipped...  Which is more than I wanted to spend...  But, I can't be too upset, since the damn thing usually costs $450.

CirclesCenter says they crash well...  CE armor...  1.1-1.2mm leather...

I'd say about 5x as protective as my current jacket...  It has a Denier of 400 or something...   But, it's waterproof.
