Im having alot of trouble finding a smoke/black windscreen for my bike. ( I live in Canada, so I mostly go through parts canada/thibault/motovan). Is there any brands that would fit my bike? I really dont want to do trial and error on this, and I know most standard screens wont fit my bike since its a different style of windscreen.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

If you're looking for all black, some people have just taken off the stock one and used plastic-friendly spraypaint to paint it black from the inside.

For aftermarket screens, try Zero Gravity.

I don't want to paint it. Ive had some friends here paint theirs with that special window tint, and it ended up cracking cuz of the cold. ( I do live in canada. hahaha jk).

I actually found one through motovan.com ( a dealer we use up here in canada). for the zero gravity windscreens. They have them in stock and will ship within 2 days, so i should get it this week or early next week. yay!

I actually bought some window tint (metalic blue) but I haven't been able to install yet cause I had to fix my bike.

Maybe after classes start, I can take some time and install it and take pictures.

BTW, I haven't seen you post in a while.  I was wonder if you've been out enjoying your GS.

Thanks for the info! I ended up getting one from a dealer up here ( Zero Gravity). It was cheap, since I work for the dealer anyways. Looks awesome!

There is a profile comparison of standard F & ZG touring on the gstwin photo site, search "codger".

I've seen the TOURING model vs the "f" standard.  Maybe she got a different model, such as tinted, or chromed.

And now the Thursday night ride looks sketchy due to weather. (Yeah you guys in the lower 48 - we gotta put up with 6 degrees celsius and rain) Plus i still don't have my bike back from the shop yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
Its been over 2 weeks waiting for a stator cover gasket!! 

Anyway hope to meet up with you on one of the rides this fall before we gotta put our babies into hybernation.

I will be taking some pics this week, and I'll post them up. Ive put on some nice new front lights, and my black tinted windscreen. It looks so awesome!

Unfortunatley Dandy, I havent been around much ESR events and what not ( I've actually deleted my account, its quite the drama scene on there, and honestly I bought a bike to ride it, not to sit there and pose and cause drama like most of those guys on there). But drop me a line anytime, Im more than willing to go out riding with the 500 POWA!

Hahaha you haven't seen drama until you've seen a bunch of people who buy bikes, but pose on them instead of riding it. Its quite funny actually. I can go to our nearest hangout for bikers, and see the same 10 people sitting there on their bike. Geez. Get on the damn thing and ride it!

We have that locally, too: Starbucks. We've even seen Gixxer 1K's TRUCKED there! 

haha ours is the tim hortons here. lol

goes to show its everywhere I guess!
I am next summer making a trip with the bike down to the states. Most likely Oregen coast. Or somewhere nice
