Paul(s) Tuetle vs. Jessie James?

the winner:  Eric Buell

If you're going to put a v-twin harley motor in a custom bike, there's no better way to do it than this:

i gotta vote for west coast on this one for one big reason, jesse does all his fabrication in house except for the engines and transmissions, occ outsources a lot of their stuff. i think that counts for something. plus, i like how jesse's bikes are motorcycles being motorcycles, not a jet plane being a motorcycle or a fire engine being a motorcycle.

as far as jesse's engine failure on the way to sturgis, remember the commache's engine seizing just before it's debute? neither shop can help it if the engine they outsourced had a problem.

Well you guys are comparing one turd with another...The nesster is the king of the turds....Frankly I'd like to see one of these I dont care which one...any one...add Ron Simms to the pile, and that other Maldonado guy and anyone...ride these in daily life and not in always sunny arizona either... These are toys and Mattel makes some very nice ones if you want that put all of these to shame.
Cool.

:)  My dad's friend has a Swift Bar chopper he bought for 30K.  He rides it quite a bit.  Its got a few thousand miles on it since he bought in November.  That thing is super cool in person.  It sports a 113ci S&S twin, 250 rear tire, wire spoke wheels, and a full chain drive.  I got to sit on it when he first bought it and they really are pretty comfortable.  He tells me that Jesse's bikes are the only choppers that will track straight when you take your hands off (like they show Jesse do in those Mania shows).  He test rode a bunch of them when he was looking

Like Zoltan said, Jesse does most of the fab'ing in his shop.  They showed a big Haas mill on Monster Garage one episode so I think he may even do his wheels in there now.  Until I see the Tuetles bust out with a power hammer and an English wheel, I won't hold them in the same regard as JJ.  I have checked out OCC's website and I think I like their "regular" bikes better than the theme bikes.

You can't really hold these guys responsible when they have engine troubles when they get those from builders like Patrick Billet or the guys OCC uses

I like the sound of Harleys except when guys put those stupid loud exhausts on.  There doesn't seem to be any middle ground--its either stock/quiet or obnoxious loud

Did anyone see Monday's episode when Mikey failed his MSF course?  I felt bad for him and laughed when I saw those stupid videos again

im kinda leanin toward occ. they Buddha Loves You and fight like jj's wife or is it ex?, but they seem to get the job done. there is a well known maker in phoenix, well several, but the one i am referring to is on indian school rd. built the az diamondbacks bike. almost every piece on that ride was a one off.

Those custom bikes are kinda nice for a showbike but for the money they spend give a nice sportbike for fun, a nice BMW  K1200RS to tour on and a decent car to drive when I dont want to ride (very rarely!) and I'd still be saving less than one of those garage queens that I could ride once a week maybe.

I remember on Monster Garage they had that guy that built Ducati choppers.  That is different but I think its pretty cool.  Its kinda like Triumph choppers... different but cool if they pull it off.

I don't think we have seen the OCC episode where Mikey rides the mini chopper.  We only see it during the beginning of the show.
Now I might just ride a mini chopper!
