I have never liked Bridgestone tires on anything I have ever ridden and my experience with the GS has once again reinforced this. I will never ever put bridgestones on any bike I own!!!! I have had my GS for a year now and it had the the bridgestone tires on it.
I didn't need new tires but the bike wallowed like a pig in turns and everytime I have had this problem it has been tires, well you guessed it, same problem again. Got my bike on the road with the Avon am51/am52 combo and I am loving it. It actually feels like it can corner. IMHO get off the bridgestone tires, it seems like every used bike I buy has had them on it, and every time I replace the tires the bike becomes more agile and stability is improved. Oh and one last thing dont skimp pay the extra buck for new valve stems when you change tires, nothing sucks worse than a 5yr old valave stem failing on freshly mounted tires.
