Sticky gloves.......

I recently got a pair of Joe Rocket Phoenix gloves and I noticed that the leather seem to be very "sticky", which I think is a good thing for most people.

However, since my hands are quite small, I release the clutch usually by straightening out my fingers slowly and let the lever slide out. However with this glove, the lever doesn't slide out smoothly due to the stickiness of the leather.

Anyone with small hands have experienced a similar issue?

Are you sure those are new gloves and not returned.  Sounds like either annguyen1981 or maybe niceguyfinishlast used them then returned them.  :o

I have those same gloves and they are not at all sticky.  Maybe take them back to where you got them and try on another pair see if the leather is sticky on that pair also.
Pilot 22.5, Mid 65 , Mains 147.5, Mixture screw 3.5 turns out

Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

Or get an adjustable clutch lever...  They must make one that fits the GS right?

I was thinking to adjust the free play on the clutch to bring the engagment point a bit closer. Does that sound that a good approach? I guess I need to make sure the clutch is still disengaging completely with the lever all the way in. Any idea what's the best way to check that?
