Anybody ever use Sidi Scorpion boots? http://www.newenough.com/sidi_scorpion_boots_page.htm I'm looking for something to wear that I could take off my overpants and wear them with shorts.

QuoteStunters are especially happy with the feel and control the Scorpion offers
QuoteThink of the Scorpion as the bottom half of a good sport touring boot.

:dunno_white:  I think they'd be better than nothing...  Have you tried Sidi boots?  They're pretty narrow.  I love my "Way Tepor" boots.

Right now I wear alpinestars SM-X boots. Which get very hot inside when it's hot out, since they go half way up my leg or more. I'm looking for something to wear on my way to work or to a friends were I will probably just be wearing shorts after I get there. Even when it's cooler out, the SM-X boots are not good for walking in at all.

If A* boots fit you, I don't think Sidi boots will...  I can't wear A* boots, but Sidis are perfect...  Well...  A little tight on the pinky-toe.

I'd suggest trying some Sidi boots before buying those. :thumb:

I'm not sure if you've ever seen the different puma 'speedcat' type shoes but that's what I normally wear, and they are pretty small and tight. (Not while riding).

Similar to these kind...

Well I got them today, I like them so far, they do keep your feet cool, the ventilation is pretty good, pretty light. Not too bad to walk in.
