Hopefully I'll get Sundays off here when I get my new schedule from work (since school is starting up soon), so I'll be able to join you LA folks for a ride before it gets chilly.  Got crappy Pilot Roads or whatever the least-sticky in that Pilot series are on the bike now, so I'm not going to be hauling it, but I'd like to go nonetheless and get some breakfast.

no f'ing way. last two weekends I was gone all day. this weekend I am sticking to malibu. I REALLY have to get back home before sunset...

last weekend we went to wrightwood, had one member meet us there in his truck and prepared a bbq ina  campground. then had a guy crash on the way back (more time waiting for the tow truck-he was unhurt). left at 8am, got back at 6pm.

weekend before last we rode up to harleys rock inn via little tujunga/bouquet, then out to Gorman just as the fire was raging:

then one guy crashed his bike, also unhurt, but the tow truck too 4+ hours because they had closed the 5fwy. which meant we all had to go home the long way around hwy 33 to ojai...that day I left at 8am and got home at 8:30pm.

so wife's gonna have my balls in a sling if I go for a long ride...gonna meet at rock store at 8am for breakfast, then ride around some and head home at lunch.

you have a good time in big bear...

DUDE! you shoulda told me! Boquet is my backyard, and I was out there that very weekend!  I probably did Boquet and Castaic 4 times on Sunday.


Anyways, we're gonna give some lead time on the Big Bear ride... try to get a bigger group.
