You ever have a day that seems to change your whole life?

Well, yesterday wasn't one of those...  But, I did get some stuff done.
    1)  Finally Bought a Katana Shock.
    2)  Got that new table put together.
    3)  Called Customer Service to get a new table sent out, 'cause the old one was broken.
    4)  Painted the closet, so the CalClosets guy can finally come by.
    5)  Quit my band.
    6)  Organized the tools in my new tool box.
    7)  Did a bunch of boring things at work I've been meaning to do for a while...

Yup...  Got a lot of stuff done.

I had UPS pick up 43 boxes the day before yesterday.  I considered it an accomplishment.

I dunno yet...  Maybe...  I've been playing bass with this band for 4 years, so I'm kinda tired of it. :icon_confused:

I had the day off, so I:

-  Went and bought a new CD alarm clock

-  Gave a copy of my MSF ERC card to my insurance agent

-  uh...  That's it.

You didn't even "catch up" on sleep?  I usually do that on my days off...   So, nearly every weekend starts off like this:

....  uh ....
.....   Bleh.....
.......  *yawn*
....  Huh?   ....
..........  1:30?!?  :o   GOD F%$KING DAMNIT!!!
*throws off sheets and runs to the shower*

Neh...  I'm not sure why not.  I hope I'm not coming down with something bad...

I mean, the day a man doesn't "want to" catch up on sleep, that signals the end of the world.

Yeah... You are...   It's called:  "Getting OLD!"  :flipoff:

My brother and my grandfather go to bed at 9:30 and wake up at 5:30 every day...  Even on weekends.

I'm lucky if I'm tired at midnight.  Most work nights I'm up until at least 1...  And sometimes 3...  Weekends, I'm up until at least 3 and usually more like 4 or 5...

No wonder I can never wake up.  :icon_confused:

annguyen1981

I'm up till anywhere from 1am - 3am every night.  And sometimes I have to wake up at 5am to get ready for work.

On the RARE nights I can sleep at 11pm, I ALWAYS wake up MANY MANY times during the night, so when I have to wake up, I feel as if I didn't get to sleep.

if you hit the snooze button about 5 times, when its set for 5 minutes, it feels liek you slept for a long time, so next time set your alarm 25 minutes early
and your sneooze for 5 minutes, do it 5 times, it really is nice, i promise it feels like you got extra long sleep

+1  I have my alarm set 10 minutes fast and set to go off at 6:45am.  Have to be to work at 7:30am but somehow i always snooze the damn thing till 7:20, take a shower and roll.  Except today, went to the bar with some friends i hadn't seen for a while last night and stayed out till 2am.  Woke up at the normal 7am still drunk, emailed boss informed her that i would be late, around 9, passed back out and woke up at 9, quality time with fiance.  Made it to work by 9:45 or so    .  Damn beer... its a love hate relationship that we have.

PS i live 5 mins from work

I hate that when that happens...  Especially when I wake up about two minutes before the alarm goes off.
