Is the GS500 Factory Repair Manual free/legal to download?  A link to a PDF file has been posted on the wiki... 

I saw that. I don't think it is legal to distribute copyrighted material like that, so it would probably be a good idea to take down the link, or switch it with one leading to amazon.

+1. We try to remove postings of copyrighted materials on GSTwin as soon as we see them or they're reported to us.

Hey you know what would be cool? A bunch of those Under Construction GIFs with flashing lights and cones and stuff. neato! Also, we should embed some midi files in the most viewed pages!

Sounds like my first webpage back in the mid 90s. *shudder*

I'll try and update this thing some more. I had a 53 hour work week last week so I never really had that much time to work on it. This week is only 34 hours so I should be able to at least add a little bit.

Yeah that was really weird.  For the past 10 minutes, it's been giving me server errors.  It might have something to do with upgrades to the CGI service (the programs that allow the wiki to work).  I'll send some emails and figure out what happened.  In the meantime, it looks like it's running now.  Sorry if you lost any work - I'd recommend using the "Save and Edit" button as much as possible.

Keeping the URL short is important, and all the upgrades are replacements, really.  I think keeping it as Upgrades/FrontForks will get the message across.

If you post on something in the main forum that isn't in the wiki but should be, take a few extra minutes to add it.  Just adding a link to a forum topic will make things a lot easier.  Much of the work in writing up a page is sorting through all the forum posts, so even a little effort by posters will go a LONG way.  Thanks!

I'm buying new tires soon.  So I spent some time combing through the threads about tires.  I tried to take what I learned and put it on this page:
