Sorry, I forgot to take some before pictures, I just went out into the garage and dove into this project without remembering. The fronts seemed easier than the back even though I had to take the headlight off. With both the front and back turn signals on, the lights do seem to blink faster, but it doesn't annoy me that much. Mabye it will grab the cager's attention behind me better. Here's the final product. Thanks again to Pablo for the instructions!

Here's to photo shoot in my backyard to show off the front and rear turn signals

How much did you end up paying total for the swap?  I absolutely love the look!  Once again, you have an absolutely gorgeous bike.

Thanks, it cost about $60 for all four of the turn signals. I think it was well worth it. You get style and saftey too because these are still government approved (I even heard a rumor that these are accually brighter than the stock signals, but I have yet to confirm that)

I'm thinking heavily about replacing my fronts with the Buell's, where did you get yours from?  Having them blink faster makes me think that the wattage of the bulbs is lower in the Buell's, would have to check the bulbs in those and the stockers to make sure.

did you buy the front Buell signals? I remember either the fronts or rear Buells are longer. Yours look like the longer of the two. I specify which in my site write-up. Still looks worlds better!

The rear ones have shorter stalks than the front ones.  I chose to use the shorter rear ones all the way around

IIRC, you are correct about the wattages being lower.

You should probably buy the signals from your local H-D / Buell dealer for 12.95 each(I think) unless you find a good deal somewhere else.  In my experience, a pair of used rear turn signals go for $30 on ebay. :icon_rolleyes:

No, it must be the pictures because I bought four of the rear turn signals like you said.
