do katana 750 rear shocks work (bolt on)?

pull...remove the cable and there is a 3 position lever that you can easily reach while on the bike

well, I said fuck it and had to buy the 750 rear shock.  I figure if anything I'll have to turn around and sell it again.







Looks like a remote resevoir for it.  Good Stuff.

That's the exact same style I have ... and ... it doesn't fit.  The section of the spring here:



is too wide and won't clear the swingarm.  We need the other style with the adjusting collar on that end to provide the clearance I think.  If you're able to make it work let me know how you did it.

It doesn't work.  Lots and Lots of pondering and potential involved.... but it will not work without some serious modifications.


While I had the Katana 750, 600, and GS500 shock out, I took some measurements.  I'll have those to you all very shortly.
