hey, i just purchased a 1990 Gs500E and the fuel tank has some pinhole fuel leaks, and im looking to get a replacenent.. i know that the 89-96 gs's are the same, but will a 04 GS500F tank bolt to my 1990 GS500E, beacuse i have found some 04 Gs tanks for sale and cant find any of the older ones..

'89-'00 tanks are all the same.

The '04 tank will fit, but the seat and tail plastics won't match up.
