I'm using this one as an additional brake light.  I don't think it's short enough, but if it is, I'm mounting this under the grab bar to act like a CHMSL (Center High Mount Stop Light)

If anyone remembers, I had put in the past some LED's right under the grab bar.  Well, because I had to remove the fairings, I needed to remove the LED's.  These will replace them, but I'm putting them in the plate holes.  But these will be installed the same way the old LED's were...  That way, They will blink rapidly too.

I just got an email with the tracking number...  The items should arrive this Friday (pretty quick shipping), so I should have them installed this weekend and pics up Sunday night (sooner if it rains and I can't go riding)

I got the package today!  WOOT!!!

I had to leave for work at 2pm, but the package didn't arrive yet, so I was bummed about that.  I wanted to install before I went to work.  But as soon as I got home (11pm), I opened it up and checked everything.  I even went as far as taking off my seat and testing the KNIGHT RIDER lights.  THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

I can't wait till tomorrow.  I hope it doesn't rain so I can install everything before work at 2pm.

I woke up this morning, and installed the LED lights into the License plate.  And because I have the brakelight modulator, they blink on/off.  Pretty cool.  I was able to clean up the wiring from the last LED install that was under the grab bar.  I had to remove cause I needed to remove the fairings in the rear.

Tomorrow (Sunday) will be for the KNIGHT RIDER lights under the plate.

I had to design a plate to put under the license plate to hold the KNIGHT RIDER lights.  I emailed a friend on Sunday.  Haven't heard back yet.

I finished installing everything today.  I ended up putting the KNIGHT RIDER lights under the taillight, above the plate.  LOOKS AWESOME!!!

Looks good An, you should see if you can't get it to move a bit slower, not much but just a tad. 

Nice work, it looks good.  +1 on trying to get it to 'scan' slower if that's possible, closer to the rate that Kit's LEDs 'scanned'

Yeah, I love 'em.  I agree with the speed, but there's nothing I can do with that.  Oh well.

I beleive adding a resistor will actually dim the unit, or possibly render it useless.  The speed of the LED's are built-in.

RVert - What model Givi do you have?  If I can see it, I'll let you know if there's a good placement point.

I don't know about other states but i know that the cops that i have seen don't mind things to help people see bikers from behind.  The normally won't ticket you for things like that unless you go way overboard or put neon lights all over your stuff

In MA, it is illegal to add any other lighting to ANY vehicle.

That being said, I'm hoping I can convince cops (if they pull me over) that it's just for MY safety.
