Does anyone know Lee McDonald (from Aus) that did this mod? I got the pipe and have been looking at it.  the mounting point on the rear peg puts the front part of the new Can really close to the front peg (and the heel of my boot.)any ideas about moving that? I'm thinking about getting a three inch by one inch plate to connect the mounting points but want to know if it would be strong enough. (dunno if that is clear enough but basically it would be one bolt at the rear peg to the plate, and then another bolt at the muffler 3 inch back... would that look getto??) see below to see the issue with the location of the hanger, other solution is get a set of pegs off a sv but how much is that gonna cost??

HELP me ObiWan... (heheh actually no rush... prob a winter time project anyway)

It does put the pipe closer to your rear heal but I never came close to touching it. My missus did once but she was wearing chunky shoes with two inch heals and it only touched sometimes apparantly.

The rear pegs do however get close to the exhaust but a simple flat piece of metal with holes at either end to lower it down fixes that.

If you need some pics to get a better idea pm me with your email and I can send them off. My bike has SV rearsets with jackup plates and the rear pegs are GSXR ones now so the pic wont show exactly how close things come but you shoud get the point.

Cheap mod to do as long as you are handy with a welder. Good opportunity to respray the rest of the pipe while its off too..
