I became a proud GS 500 owner...
Had owned at that point A 600 ninja (traded for a Triumph spitfire and sold it) , a 650 nitehawk (sold for $1300) , a 600 Katana (stolen), a virago 535 still had but 2 fill ups a day running the 40 miles 1 way was just too much...
Cool.

I wish....But alas those lasted to 15K, then some CS's went on and lasted 6K, then both the fornt and rear were changed to some used ones I got free cos the guy didn't like them  :? ...then some more and now Tires I got from Werase...These might be the best I have had in the time I owned it. It has those bling bling wheels from the other bike.
Cool.

Oh, yeah...happy anniversary!!

Congrats and happy memories!  :)

And we wonder why our wives want to strangle us. We remember license plate numbers and VINs to cars and bikes we haven't owned in a decade but not the wife's b-day or wedding anniversary. Seems rather ironic to me. Selective memories or just different priorites I wonder?

whats a bling bling?

I have 1800km on my GS500 and I will be needing a new rear tyre pretty soon, I slide the back end into most corners (never do burn outs). I am tough on the tyres so I can get some better after market ones.

Congrats and Stay Safe  :thumb:

Oh, yeah...happy anniversary!!

That nitehawk was an 83 in wineberry color...loved it...had to sell it only cos of arbitrary limits placed by my mind..."You should only have 1 bike", I later bought an 84 in 96 with 1700 miles (right under 2K) for $550 and $300 in back licensing took it to another state and registered it, sold to my friend a year later with 7K on it and he still has it with 7K. I currently own a 84 to fix/ride and an 85 for parts. I love them. They not the easiest to work on but they are great bikes. If I were looking for one in NY state I'd buy a canadian Nitehawk S. Those were 750CC against the 700 of the US bikes due to harley tax and they were shaft drive. 84-86 were the years they made them. I like the non S for body shape though and I believe a non S body will fit a S (atleast the tank will and its the best part).
Cool.

Well I didn't buy mine on the 26 exactly, I bought it on 24th, had a flat in the truck on the way back, let the truck and bike sit till 26, then pulled it off and fixed the truck and bike and rode it on 26th. We also moved that weekend to Livermore and I rode it on 28th, lost the muffler in oakland on 580 and ended up riding to work noisy....
Anyway I never forget my wife's birthday and both of us forget when our anniversary is...we have to check the 94 calendar before we are sure. Indian wedding's are long drawn messy processes...so people usually dont know when they are married....
