Picking my Disk Lock

I managed to pick my own disk lock today.  It is a Bell Warden similar to many Kryptonite barrell key disk locks.  Here is a video of me in action.

All it took was a simple BIC pen with the cap removed and 5 seconds of time.  I'm done using this lock for security.  If I can compromise it, anyone can.  :o

But once you know how a lock works shaZam! like that becomes pretty funny. I never would have thought of that though, too stuck in the "correct" way to pick a lock. BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!

I love stuff like that. When you see it, it is like ZOMFG why did I not think of this!

This was a pretty big news story a year or two ago, I'm surprised they haven't followed Kryptonite and changed lock designs. How shortsighted.
