peace.

I have absolutely no problem with the above advice.  It's just that I get a whole different message out of this:

"cost is no object, got to the chiropractor once again cost no object, massage therapist and once again $$$ no object, and sue sue sue...Better than new is the goal here both for her and the bike. Of course you need time off... "

Fine you can Keep your 40+hour a week job and go to a chiropractor that sets up shop under a bridge...
Frankly chiropractors and docs that do this sorta work have a regular inflow of athletes etc...the good ones do and tend to be more $$$. I speak from experience too. Cost no object means you dont cut corners...If they claim it directly from your insurance they charge $5 more (in my case) and I'll let that happen instead of paying them and collecting from insurance trying to save them $5...you show any consideration or compassion you get shitty treatment...been there done that. If your chiropractor charges $75 a visit...they wont talk back. Find one that charges $25 a visit they will trash him, and trash chiropractors in general and make you look like the criminal...If the guy is more $$$ cos he's good I'd not even think about the $$$ why... less hassles...and they are much better at dealing with the insurance companies...You pay for treatment and for the lack of hassle from insurance. A sure way to get treated like shaZam! by an insurance company...get a cheap doctor ... immediate doubt about how severe your injury is ...
Cool.

Glad the lady is ok!

And regardless, make sure she goes to the dr, coz the neck and back issues from that much trauma can not be apparent under all the adrenaline and stress.

We're not actually meant to go that fast or be airborn, regardless of how many launch devices we build and buy.

Well thanks for the thoughts and posts.  The wife (Debi) is doing ok and really thanks everyone for the support

Just an update.   Went to the doc's yesterday and had full examination.  All clear and follow up visit in 5 days.   :thumb:

Woke up this morning and she felt just a bit sore on left side of neck and stomache (like being punched; probably what happend being thrown from the bike)  However, pain a swelling in her foot is subsiding.  She is walking without my help now and probably will be using in to kick my arse very shortly.

Don't know about the insurance yet.  We may just claim it under ours and have the insurance go after the guy and his insurance.  This way everything get rollin sooner.

She wants to get back on, which is a good thing.  Hope to have everything resolved by the next ride.  We may just get an SV :?

Thanks again for the support.  I helps very much.  Will try to keep an update and pics.  Be careful out there :thumb:

Yea She's a trooper...and now she wants an SV... Whoooo hoooo Get it from your insurance, have them claim it from the other guy and buy your SV...and keep the GS if you want...at the end of the day its only a bike ... Just make sure she dont over do it...Maybe an SV will be safer with better rubber and the standard suspension tricks etc...Just dont push yourself or let her push herself, when injured...no giving 110%...I try to stay under 50%. So SV or GS is secondary...
Cool.
