Hmm my hands were giving me a problem but gel grips and a throttle rocker helped a lot. But over time my wrists still get kinda sore. Where can you get SM bars and what kind of price? Werent they popular with the SV guys? Maybe used ones there?

The type II bars are about 130 (gasp)... the type Is are more.  What kind of gel grips did you get?  I want to change them as well.

Pantablo-
I went and looked at your site too...its nice to see you say the samething that I was thinking while I was checking out the photos.

I think I may give it a go.

tricked500-
If I like these I will let you know about the drag bars.   ;)   It shouldn't take me long to decide as long as the weather remains good.  Right now the majority of my riding has been commuting.
Also... I did add a barsnake to the bar- it cost more than the bar it self.    :o

If you don't hear from me please feel free to drop me a note and remind me.

Thanks muchly to all you guys!
I will let you know how it goes!

$130

the bars I bought are the sv650 bars. The sv guys aren't dumb, they sell these for near retail. I've seen occasional ones for sale on svriders.com but they get snatched up quickly. If you keep an eye out on their classifieds you might score one.

There is the other point...You sure your grips aren't too big for your hands... I get this odd pain with my eliminator...then noticed that it has the original grips, which hurt so bad I tossed it on my vulcan.
Cool.

My grips seem pretty small/thin- though my hands are pretty small.  They are not "beefy"..hehe.

I wi;; give this a try and see how it goes... I am tempted to get that $25 jet kit too....   ;)
