Alright... well... I wont comment on tech or anything like that, but if it rides the way the 636 rides, it's going to be a real winner on the streets. I'll hold my final opinion on that aspect until after I ride it, though.

As far as looks go, I really like it, but what is wrong with the tail and why does it look so fat? I do like the simple fairings they used for the side compared to the '07 600RR. Honda should have stayed simple as well. I love the fact they stayed with the undertail and still stayed away from 3-spoke wheels. The silver with red wheels is very nice. I'd still stick with the 600RR. :thumb:

Can't find pics of the rear. Anyone have?

Also happy to see they got rid of the two models and just stuck with developing a pure 600cc middleweight.

Oh here we go.

I was afraid they were going to do the same as the '07 600RR and keep the brake light on the fender like that. :(

Ok after seeing the rear im ready to give my opinion. I like the bike it looks gorgeous especially the colour options, it looks bettern than the current model.
What i dislike is the way the fairings all wrap around the front but are left totally open at the back if you know what i mean - it looks like they wrapped a huge fairing around it starting at the front and realised they cut it too short and didnt have enough left to finish the back off properaly. Hence the huge misplaced brake lights and indicators. And the chunky numberplate holder. It could be made alot nicer by putting some flush mount turn signals up next to the exhaust and then making the brake light much smaller and to match the shape of the plastics underneath the exhaust - so move it up a touch and match the lines. Then chop out the ghey plastic lump and move the whole numberplate up under the brake light.

I'm still not sure what to think of the rear. Would have to see an angle shot of it to be sure.

Hipocracy.... becoming more acceptable with the more power you think you have.

Already posted this on the 600rr board, but figure it had more worth here for people who are thinking about moving to a middle weight next year.

As much as I love the styling of the bike, I don't think I could ever bring myself to buy one. I hopped on my buddy's '05 636 the other day with 8k miles. Hadn't been on it in a while, but I remember it being very smooth. I have no idea what happened because you can hear all the little seems on the bike rattling up against each other. Felt like it would fall apart in my hands. The quality simply isn't there and is no where near as refined as my '06 600RR with 4.5k miles on it.

Yeah, I absolutely LOVE the way the new '07 ZX-6R looks, but in no way would I accept anything less than the refinement that comes with a Honda. :thumb:

it looks nice but it looks like they took a little advice from the daytona 675.  It might jsut be me there.  I like it but i agree that the tail neads a little work.  Overall i still love it and it would still come down to which one, GSXR or the ZXRR, sat better for me to get.  A test drive would be nice too cause i have heard that the ZXRRs have some not so friendsly vibrations that the GSXRs do not.  But i don't trust what i read so much cause the authors either are to freaking picky or bias tward one bike or another.

Finally an 07 600cc replica Jap bike that I like!  The new R6 (06+) styling sucks in my opinion and the 07 CBR seems like a cheap R6 rip off.  I was pretty bummed to see how crappy those bikes looked.  The new Kawi looks great!  Its styling is deffinately modern, but still screams KAWI.

Looks great.
