I was following Mike's rejetting page and I think I may have stripped the pilot jets. What is the best way to get it out without doing more damage?

you need to go get the smallest EZ-out from a hardware store or autoparts store, and a tap wrench, stick the ez-out on the end of the tap wrench, and then put the EZ-out down the middle of the old pilot and turn counterclockwise, the flukes on the ez-out will grab into the hole in the middle of the pilot and turn it out. The pilot will be unusable after this, so if you are just cleaning then you will need to order another one.

Same thing happened on mine.  One one side a small EZ-out worked fine.  On the other carb the ez Out destroyed the passage and I ended up replacing the carb.  Be careful.

As long as it is pre-01' you will not do any damage to the carb as long as the ez-out goes only like 1/2 of the distince into the pilot, and you dont break off the ez-out in the pilot

I drill em with a leftie drill and they usually come out 1/2 way through.
The ony carb that didn't work on was a carb that seamax sent me. I ended up drilling several times progressively bigger and finally ended up poking the thing out with a pick and thankfully the threads were OK. Easy out tends to spread the thing ... Its possibly OK but I never trust it much ... drilling is better ... with the hole in the center it acts like a pilot hole ... so its easier.

It is a 91. My friend has the Snap On kit with the leftie drill bit and the extracter. I am going to try the drill first and see how it goes. Thanks for the advice.

remeber go slowly. don't want to mess anything up. But it should be very easy, both of mine were stripped and they came out with out any hassle

Yeah, with the leftie drill, use a lot of pressure on the dril and turn it very slowly. A little penetrating lube on the threads may help as well. Good luck 

Good news. I did not strip them as bad as I though. I found a very thin screwdriver, sprayed some WD4, tapped it a few times and very carefully unscrewed them. Thanks for all the advice!
