Some members recently thought it funny to create a duplicate account under a different name, just to start trouble or be insulting.

Our usual tact was to ban the member by name. well, now if this is done we're going to ban the IP address, which effectively will also ban the members original accounts. These are full, permanent bans.

Nick_villian/doodah69 was the latest to have this happen.

but chances are they are using the same ISP with the same block of IPs.  That would make it harder to figure out but if two users have the same tendancies from the same ISP then one might could assume and test ban.

And as for people not securing wireless it is cause they don't know, in blacksburg you can connect to the internet from anywhere in town because no one secures thier crap lol.

Yeah, but he adds color to the board.  The down side is ~70% of the threads he hijacks go straight to the farm
