Question on F1 + 150 mains (Pkaaso?)

Have you done any plug readings?  Also, what year is your GS?  I have pod filters, 150 jets, (neither installed) and am thinking of getting a F1S exhaust.  I'd be curious to get a progress report.

Currently running 125 mains 40 pilots with stock box and exhaust and no complaints.  

Bike is now registered and insured, and paint is drying!

I think the 150's will be a bit rich I am running 140's with the pods (need to check plugs tonight!) and stock exhuast. 2 washers and 2.5 turns out on the mixture screw. Seems to run right for me but have to check the plugs for sure. So slip-ons arent suppose to change jetting I would say at the most you would want 142.5's or 145's.

Slip on and K&N type pods and that 150 will work very nicely. Plug pulls at rpm is risky and dangerous...If it works fine and runs and acts good under the extremes you hvae there. If it Doesn't stumble or misfire on the coldest day, and doesn't get soggy and lose power on the hottest day you are fine. Your setup has been tested by me using an O2 sensor and I rode the thing in Canada in winter and in California in summer...150 is it. any bigger and it will get soggy even in winter, smaller and you may be fine but why risk lean.

So, is it still 150's with or without a slip on?  Or would the stock pipe require smaller mains?

Some people have said using a 140 with stock pipe. I have never done it. Slip on = 150.
