doubt with 89´ gs500 wheel size

hello

i have a doubt, i dont know if the 1989 gs500 comes whit 16' wheels instead of the standard 17's, and if it does, can i replace them whit the 17's?, thanks and hope you can answer as soon as possible, beacuse im about to buy an 89' one, !!!  greetings from mexico city!! :)

The front is a 110/70/17 and the rear is a 130/70/17.

When I was down in Mexico this past January, I saw a GS500E. He was going to fast for me to talk to him though!  :laugh: 
'06 SV650s (1 past Gixxer; 3 past GS500s)
I get blamed for EVERYTHING around here!

Pull a Circle's Center, you jump on your bike and drag launch after him. (Slipping clutch at 9 - 9.5k full throttle) Hang off like a monkey around the corners and gas it till you catch him.
