Some pic's of what we did to Jon's bike

and this

and another angle

We covered the red R with the dark silver to match the GSX part, added some yellow rim tape, silver carbonfiber tank pad and new grips.

Next maybe is taking the rear passanger pegs and rearsets to the powder coaters.  I think my tail tidy looks better than his fender eliminator I'll post some pic's of what mine look like tomorrow now that it's installed.  But he did get his real cheap like $30 bucks including shipping.

Looks good dude!

I got a ride for saturday morning, I should be there at or very close to 10. I'm so freaking excited, you have no idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only downside is it means no drinking friday night. But it's well worth it.  8)

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Tell him he needs to remove the pillion pags and store them with the seat.  I can't say too much for the K6 600 and 750, but they look a lot meaner pegless.

Bwahahaha... you've REALLY got too much time on your hands. Besides, I thought you ordered those hello kitty decals for your helmet?

Cool bikes, I love the body style.  I like stock grips, or at least all black grips but I do like those cause its using yellow as an accent color instead of drawing attention to them.  Oh I dont think taking the pegs off is a good idea.  I read on the zx6r forum that people that did that to there ninjas had more damage in a wreck, as in lowsiding, they hold the zx6r's up off the ground more and help save the rear fairing and other parts.  Might be the same on the gsxr's.  Good looking bikes, I like them both.

I think its the painst scheme, but I always find myself staring at this beast at the bike shops.
That bike does things to me that would make a dirty whore blush.

I wish I could go into detail but I'd hate to send a great thread to the tard farm.

Blue05twin, thank you for reminding me what a dumbass decision it is to get outta debt.  Tell your freind I have three GS500's I will trade him those and my left testie for that bike. well, ok both testies and I am willing to do other "favors" if necessary.

I like what you did with the red "R". it's subtle but make a big difference.

 I am not worthy.

This makes no sense to me...  If I'm gonna go down that hard, I'd rather have the plastics damaged than the frame getting all bent from the impact.

Well thats what I heard, doesnt hurt the subframe but helps save the bike.  Sounds sensible to me.

Damaging a bike this beautiful would be a sacralige (sp?)
