Hi all,

I was thinking about taking a trip out to NH this October and thought it would be neat to see some of the mountains by motorcycle.  My bike, however, resides with me in WA.  I don't have enough time off (nor riding experience yet) to take a cross country trip.  So, what are my options?  I've never seen a motorcycle rental place before--do they even exist?

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

The only bikes I've ever seen for rent are scooters and harleys, nothing in between. Expect to spend a couple hundred bucks on a Harley, even a sportster.

Just don't fu*k it up  :thumb:

theres a place called eagle riders that rents motorcycles. All HarleysI blieve, they are located in manchester, nh which might be the city your going to be flyign into. i think their website is eagleridernh.com might hav eot google it but i knwo they exist

Chilly Willy

Thanks!  That would be awesome as I am planning on flying into Manchester, riding over to Hampton to visit friends, and then heading north.  I'll google the name of the shop and see what they want $-wise for a rental.

For those of you who have gone riding abroad, how did you work out the motorcycle access thing?  Did you ship?  Did you know someone who would lend you their bike?

Thanks,

Sportbike rentals . com , but I think that they are only in larger warm locations (LA,Vages.etc)

Thanks all,

I'm still waivering about the NH trip.  The leave out here in WA state have already turned color and dropped.  I imagine that NH might be well through its Fall season by mid October.  Since my original intent was to take pictures, it might be a moot point.

Quick related question--would a bike rental place (even a Harley shop) rent out luggage to go with the bike?  I'd need something to stow my camera gear in.  Also, what's the best way to lash something onto a bike (i.e. my tripod)?
