No dating either. Thought we both wanted it. Evidently, we do both want it. But she goes to Emory. I go to Tech. She takes 19 hours, is on crew team, and is a music major (flute).. which means like 3 hours of crew, and 3 hours of flute every day, plus class. Which means very little free time. Which means she evidently doesn't feel like she could devote enough time to a relationship. Which means, as usual, I'm hung up on a girl I can't have.

crew sucks too-early risers means no partying late. she probably has to be on the water or erging around 5:30am.

well it would bother me being in your situation, but I'd deal with it if I wanted her.  I had the pleasure of loving my girl before she went to college, though, so I likely was a bit better off than you.  I'm lucky to see her on the weekends...

I'm more than willing to deal. If it means a few conversations on AIM at night, and seeing her two or three times a week.. I'm perfectly ok with that. She's the one who's not. That's why I'm confused.

If you're not both willing to deal with the circumstances, I'm sorry to say, it's a lost cause.

Seeing one another a few times a week is amazing in my book.  Kalee lives 3 hours from here and I work 12 hours a day at one job, 5~8 hours a day with my parts business, almost every day.  I get up about 10am during the week...on thursdays I do that and work until about 4am Friday morning, shower, then drive to Lubbock to start my weekend with Kalee.  I'm there until about 12 on Sunday afternoon, then I haul ass back here to work and do't get to crash until about 6am Monday morning.  Back up at the 10.  That's on the weekends that I actually get to go...about once a month I have to stay in town and do real work.  Kalee's a full time student and she has a lot of out of class projects so she's seldom able to come home and we've usually got to work on her school stuff the weekends I get to go.

...only 18 more months of it to go...praise God...

I have to be up at 9 so I can study for my test. I was supposed to study tonight. Can't make myself. Dammit.

its cool, I was supposed to write a 9 page Psych paper tonight..... its due thursday.... I've got my research, and thats about it.

Ehh.. no biggie. I'm not a big drinker. We have plenty of off campus apartments where we can party when we want. This works out for us. The house is cleaner. The house GPA is higher than the campus average AND higher than the campus greek average. Believe me though.. if I didn't have a test tomorrow.. I'd be at one of those apartments....

no AIM. no idea what it is. No instant messaging of any sort. its a dry house here. this forum is about as close as I come to instant messaging...LOL. I dont even text message from my phone...much.

Not in my experience. Best friends for 6 years. This summer, she quit talking to me. (this is a different girl than the one I made this post about)
