Does anyone have this kit? I talked to luis and he told me it retailed for 810.00 but he could sell it to me for 600.95 I like the kit but I'd like to see it on the gs500f model. if anyone could please give me some assistance. I may buy this and put it on my 05 F model. I think it would look really good on the 500 but he didnt have any pics of it installed.

OK I'll take it if you're having second thoughts ... yea ... serious.
Need an enduro, cos its the one type I haven;t ridden so far. But it should be good ... carbs crap is OK ... else gotta run and be street legit and have title ... cos I am riding it on the street and heck motarding it.
Cool.

I'm 100% sure it's a Titan kit.  Why?  Look at my avatar.

If you want my review of it... assuming it's a Airtech kit and not someone's copy.  (Even if it's someone's copy, as long as it's fiberglass, my review will hold.)

Pros:

Wind protection -
feels a lot better at 70-80mph without the hand of god pushing your chest.
  even got 3-4 extra MPG

Looks nice from the outside -
except you have to paint it yourself.  I know how to paint, and if you do too,
or you can learn, you'll be good to go

Fiberglass instead of plastic -
I dropped on it 4 times, once a 40-50mph lowside.  It might as well be made of iron.

Cons:

Fit and finish is not there.  Nasty exposed fiberglass on the inside.  No one else will see it, but you will.

Will drag on the ground before your pegs do, because it hangs low on the frame.  For me that's a pro, because it gives me early warning and the road rash looks badass.

Everyone on this forum will give you sh1t.

Overall, I'm very happy with it.  I think it looks nice enough, and I just wanted it to help with the wind anyway.  (I ride until it freezes, so when it's 40F out, I don't want much wind at all.)

The fiberglass is a better deal compared to ANY plastic fairing.  You can crash it and patch it back up again (glass/resin/bondo, yay!)  I paid 500 shipped for mine, and felt kinda bad about it at the time, but now I think I've gotten my value out of it.

we have had two titan kits one street one race both were decent but pricey ,we used the R1 tail for a fzr 600(airtech made a kit to make your fzr 600 look like anR1)on the race bike was a good fit w/ an fz600(not fzr )seat little modding but not much.

Chuck - do you have some bigger photos that you could share with us?

Yeah.  At home I have a bunch of photos from a track day.  I'll try to remember.  ;)

Chuck

Here she is freshly painted, before I lowsided her.

At the track warming up.  You can see some drop damage (wind knockover), and some scrapes (hangs a bit low for the hard turns).  It's still truckin.  That's not the side I lowsided.  Don't have pics of that yet:

finnish looks crappy...you can see way too much emptiness inside the fairing...and that recessed headlight looks out of place.

and your socks don't match.

Chuck

Haha, I knew someone would notice my flood pants.
