Went to rodk store today and saw a Moto Guzzi that had installed Napoleon Barend mirrors mounted to bolt at brake/clutch lever. The bolt that holds it in place (pivot point I think). He seemed to have installed a through bolt.

Looked really nice-like stock only very low profile. Anyone out there with a set of Napoleons want to try it and report back with some pictures? I'd do it but sold mine long ago (BBanjo?).

Would be nice if you could see it. Unfortunately I didnt have my camera with me...

thought you'd like to know.

The more I think about it I suppose you could also mount to the stock mirror location if you bought a long enough bolt.

Looked real nice. Thr mirror arm is 'l' shaped. It was mounted so that it pointed forward first, the out and slightly up. Placed mirror above grip and just sticking out slightly from end of bar.

I mounted mine in the same place on my Lav...
If I could figure out how to post a pic, I'd show you... oh well.

Lav, Ducati, and Guzzi clips are all the same (mostly...) so you can mount up like this on most.  i've got mine actually running through a hole OTHER than the stock mirror hole.  I have them running through the hole that acts as a bolt to hold the levers in place.

Thats exactly where I saw them, my original post. If you could get a pic I'd love to see it, and I would love to have the gstwin community have yet another option.

<you can see how my mind works, thinking about this stuff all the time...>

May be worth it to me to buy a cheap Emgo mirror to try. It did look realy sweet.

I uploaded a pic in the Member's Section, but it's a bit hard to see exactly how they are mounted.  But you get the idea...

[edit by pantablo: thats exactly how I saw it. I think it looks pretty good. You really dont get a sense of how low and discreet it is though in the picture. Thanks Rolly.  P-]

Oooooooo....I like it.

Still like the visibility I have with the bar-end placement though.

I took a good look at my levers and it appears the brake lever would be near impossible to do this way...without a little grinding of the napoleon.

The left side would install fine [suites me since I only have a left mirror].
