So AJ, Alpha, and TadMC don't seem to believe me that...
A. I just paid $495 for a year of full coverage on my 06 GSXR 600, with $500 deductibles.
B. That my insurance will only go up about 2% when I move out (buying a house when I do, so I will still benefit from the multi line discount)
just thought i would share, alpha wanted me to

I don't believe the $495 for full GSXR 600 coverage..
:o :o :o :o

unless

1. you have a spotless 60year old driving record and live in the most rural part of the Continential United States

2. Your insurance company has a sign on the door that says "Your own Risk"

sry had to add these:

3. You signed a wavior "upon fault of accident XYZ Agency seizes all assets"

4. you got someone working on the inside....

5. You own the bike/title in your name (no lein title)

6. Your on your parents policy in which your assets are now collectively one unit...meaning multiple discounts starting with that    porsche and their house and whatever else your family might own

I'm under my parents policy right now, so I get the multi line discount, but that's it, I have the steer clear program discount for my car, and the 3 year accident free discount, but they don't offer discounts for motorcycles. Even when I move out though, it will only go up about 10 bucks on the GSXR. And yes I'm 20, sorry.

And you care what others think because....?   :icon_mrgreen:

A low rate wouldn't surprise me if you're on the policy of the 'rents and with an insurance company that offers good discounts for multi-lines.  :thumb: If it's important to you that no one thinks you're a lyin' SOB, you can always take a digital pic of dec page and smudge out the personal info.  :thumb:

We're with State Farm, too. Their rates for multi lines positively RAWK!  :thumb:

State Farm is cheap that's what I have multi line discount not a perfect driving record but I'm only paying 350 per year on the GS for full coverage, 550ish maybe a little less for the 600 and paying 650ish for the 750.  Full coverage on all of them.

Funny my nephew had to put his bike on my insurance because when he got a quote they told him about 750 a year after he got the bike and tried to insure it they wanted 6K a year.

I believe my insurance is about 9 dollars and 50 cents a month (full coverage) but I am a broken down hobbling crippled old curmudgeon.

The GS500E has surely been an "insurance friendly" bike. There ain't no denying that!
Taxes are Good. Millions that have been on Welfare for the last 30 years are depending on you. Also Millions that are coming over the border each year are depending on YOU.
Also taxes will fix our shitty schools and roads that have been broken for 40+ years.

You really don't get it do you???

A little off topic (car instead of bike ins)...  A lot of people say state farm is great, but my GF and I were just shopping for car insurance and rental insurance together... a multiline policy...  we just signed up for ins through an independent agent on Progressive Drive because it was almost half as much as State Farm.    And she's been on her family's State Farm multiline policy for 8 years (since she got her license) paying about the same as State Farm quoted for her again.  I was trying to convince her to pay my half of our insurace bill because she'd be paying as much as she has been up til now!  She didn't go for it though

Bottom line: you gotta shop around as it's different for different people, but in my experience state farm sucks
