I don't get it, how does it turn? How can you countersteer this thing?

I see the red rods, but I can't visualize how the system works...

think of how you adjust a wheel on a single sided swingarm-with an eccentric spacer/washer. I'm guessing its the same idea and the tie rods pull/push an eccentric spacer of some kind...just a guess.

Yeah, but the front swingarm is dual sided.  The front axel must float in there somehow. 

That riding position looks extra uncomfortable

if you can get a hold of other pics, look closely near the front axle.  there are teardrop shaped holes that allow the axle 'slide' laterally.  you can almost see it in the second shot.  the swingarm itself does not move side to side.  pretty naked and pretty light bike (lighter then most SS 600's).

There is a suspension rod to a fixed axle with a centerline king pin.
The swing arm is wide at the back to clear the turn of the tire.
With the radius rodded axle, The rake is held constant.
A steering rod drives a separate bearinged arm to turn the wheel hub around the king pin.
If you're ever in Birmingham AL, they have one at the raceway.

Yeah but I don't see that providing enough movement. I had thought of that but it didn't seem like it would provide enough movement to be practical.

BTW there was one dude who'd make them for RZ350's in the Nor CA area.
