Fortunately he was under 3' tall.  Don't let size fool you though.  Getting between a toddler and a bowl of chocolate ice cream is risky business--even if it's your own bowl of chocolate ice cream.  I just let him have the bowl and walked away.  Otherwise his older brother would have hit me over the head with a half-eaten orange popsicle.

Dude...you did the right thing. Sometimes, you just need to walk away. There's no reason to escalate things like  this. Next thing you know, he'll be coming at you with a fork, and then all heck might break loose.
