You must be confusing me with another person...  I've only had the pothole incident and the minor hit & run.  Both times, never down.

Heck...  I've never been down on a bike at all.

if it really is like new (has it been down, he doesnt mention?) thats not a bad deal. bit high for what they're worth but since its practically new...make sure he has the stock pipe too (doesnt MA have yearly inspections?)...

I wouldn't do it unless it was a bike I lusted after.  I don't even think that's a good price for a used '05.

Yeah, I've been drooling over some of those today. I'd be dead if I had 148hp!

I know where a 2005 Ducati 800 Desmodue Super Sport is with 2,823 Original Miles is for $5,500.I'd really like to Go Get it but it's a Little to far to go and I'm BROKE.Anybody Interested? dude, seriously, get a bike every other squid out there doesn't have.  not saying you are one.  in my area, everyone has the same r6's an gixxers.  its sad really, theres a hangout close to where i live, an everytime i drive by, theres 15 bikes an they all look ithe same.  One of the reasons why i love my gs, is cuz there is none around my area.   well maybe none is over doing it, there is 1 f model, but hes got gixxer stickers all over it.   

I, too, am the only GS500f owner in my area.  There is a gs500e owner on campus, but I've only seen HIM once.  I always see the bike.

I thought there was one dealer, but they don't deal with those.  I'll have to move to CA to get access to the better bikes and such.

Why do you need a dealer?  You need parts, get them online.  Any other bike joint can change the oil and stuff like that.

...and there's a dealer in Worchester...and there's 7 Ducati dealers that'll service them all across Mass.

Wait...  Ducati dealers service those?  There a Duc dealer about 20 minutes from me...  That's where I bought my GS
