I was selling my old cell phone on eBay, and the winning bidder turns out to be an effing scam....

I got this in my eMail today:

Just say you won't ship the item until the money is in your account and see what they do

wheres the scam. have her pay, wait a month to make sure it clears and doesnt come back as insufficient funds,  then send it.

It's a scam because that user has been flagged as a scammer in the two other auctions they ruined.  Total scam.  Can you do a next best offer for the item?

I know....I was just being optimistic.
