Looking for some Front Springs for the ol' GS.  It is an 89.  Want some opinions from the experts (that is me sucking up!!) on the best replacement springs.  I have seen progressive springs for about $50, but never used them.  Anyway...appreciate the time!!

What type of riding will you be doing?

Street riding/commuting? Progressive
Sport riding/Track? Race Tech or Sonic Springs
Cruising? Progressive
Wheelies? Race Tech or Sonic Springs
Potholes and dips? Progressive

I ride on the street with a spring rate that is over the reccomended race-rate for me. It's because I'm a flyweight and I got the lowest spring rate availible, but it is a fantastic difference.

Planning on some track days and the only street riding is gonna be be with my wife behind the bars.  I have a 954 for street duty, but trying to find a balance.  She loves to ride but I need to be careful not to make it too harsh.  I got a GSXR rear shock on the way.  So it is starting to sound like the race techs are going to be a better choice.  What do you think?  I appreciate the response...

I'd say go with the straight rate springs. I've got sonic springs. Good people to deal with. I've got a .90 in mine, I'm 185lbs. I like it little stiff. :)
If it comes out of your body you shouldn't be afraid to hold it in your hand! :o

I've ridden with my girlfriend on the back with my RaceTechs in, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Go for the straight rate. :)
