I have checked the battery and everything is fine....the only thing I can think of is I just put on sm2 bars and one of the two plug things under the clutch lever broke off, I beleive it is the bottom on.  I was thinking it was just my high beam indicator seeing how befor the swap the indicator would go on and off and not it dosent even come one...am I correct our would that keep the bike from starting?

thats the starter lock-out circiut for the clutch safety just twist the wires together-or trace them back to their respectevive plugs and connect them(one is female one is male if i remember correctly)

Alright, that was it thanks.

I had the EXACT same thing happen to me when I replaced my stock bar. I inspected the device at least 5 times and I KNEW it was being put back together properly but it would NOT work. It was like a hair of a millimeter off. I ended up bypassing the circuit in the headlight. Just becareful. Now your bike will start regardless of whether the clutch is pulled in or not. ALWAYS pull your clutch in, otherwise you may destroy the starter.

I just ordered the replacement part...a little pricey if you think about what it just is and does but 10 bucks, not bad hind sight
