No way, go with the halo's.  High Bimmin is awesome, check out www.highbimmin.com.  The guy who runs high bimmin is very active on www.r6messagenet.com.  I frequent r6 message net quite often and everyone seems to be satisfied with their products.

they're little rubber sockets that hold standard LED's.  They snug into a drilled hole like 109 wedge bulb holders.  You can get them at radioshack.  I'm trying to get Rupes to send me some pics of Sentinel...he's got the same setup, but I can't find the pics with the lights on:

yeaa  those are a DIY item ... i knew  some guys that where making there own for there cars ... all you need is the clear rods that go to windo blids ... use your stove top (if its a popane type) to shape it and then you take a knife or saw and make slits every so many cm. and then put your led's in there .. all they do :)

That's a really good idea.

I just have to figure out what LED's to put in and what resistors.  I haven't done that in SOOOO long.  about 9 years. (high school)

you can use just about any blue or ultraviolet LED's with a 220 ohm resistor.  Ebay always has full sets.

pantablo

or you could do the angel eyes...because those look badass.
the guys on the 600rr forums retrofit the R1/R6 projector lights and do the angel eyes...

because of the shape of the headlight lense, I think the angel eyez are gonna be my first mod over the winter.  That is when and if I get the damn bike.  I should though...  We'll see.

demon/angel eyes are illegal in MA.

So isn't all the light mods I've done with my GS, but in one years time, I've been pulled over 0 times.
~Yellow headlight bulbs
~color changing LED bulb replacing the front parking bulb
~Knight Rider lights in the rear (This one's a BIG no no, but it's a safety thing, so cops don't care)
~LED license plate bolts. (RED - another big no no)

Do the angel eye's.  I was going to do the 750 but decided to wait and not be the guinney (sp?) pig.  Besides I got other stuff instead.
Pilot 22.5, Mid 65 , Mains 147.5, Mixture screw 3.5 turns out

Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

Quotedemon/angel eyes are illegal in MA.

Bmw 5 series, all stock.  Road-legal in EVERY state.

I think he's referring to the colored lights.  Maybe.

If he's referring to the white as well, then he's just plain WRONG.

it's not too bright to fork out the money for something like demon or angel eyes in a state that they're illegal.

The demon and angel eyes are purely cosmetic and for show bikes. You run your bike with those on at night and you WILL get pulled over; and most likely towed. Dont say I didnt warn you An. Go ahead and ask in some of the New England forums, they will tell you the same. Mak I realize that BMW uses a similar headlight, but demon and angel eye mods are Illegal in MA. Period. There is no arguing that; I didnt make the law. Talk to your congressman or something if you've got a problem with it.

Yes, the BMWs have something similar, but you'll find that car/bike laws are both very different. The pic you posted of the 5-series is with just the parking light running I believe. While driving the low-beam is always on. If you're gonna spend that much money on a parking light for your bike... :icon_rolleyes:

the colored lights are definitly illegal and eye-catching to police. The white ones you MIGHT be able to get away with, but I dont remember you saying you were gonna get white ones.... I dont think it's worth the risk in this state; especially since they cost so much. Again, go check out the NE forums. There's a reason why noone around here runs angel or demon eyes.

I guess you didn't see my additions a couple months back...

http://media.putfile.com/GS500f-new-lighting-additions

THESE are HIGHLY illegal because they are MOVING lights.  I've had puhlenty of police behind me in traffic (even State Police) and not one has pulled me over.  And you most likely know that Staties are the highest strung cops out there with sticks so large up their cavities.

check out this thread. it's about you.  :icon_mrgreen:
I dont mean any offense; it'll just give you some good answers hopefully.

why not take the money from the demon/angel eyes and invest it into something worthwhile... like frame sliders, better gear, or a power commander?
