The 81-82 500 never made to US.
But yes like all ebay sellers he has covered his ass well by putting in 81-82.

I see many scams on eBay. This is not one of them.

I dont see the problem, its not a scam. The guy is correct in his description, the 1980-82 GS500E had a 4 pot engine. Check out the model history here
