Howdy, I just got a GS as my first bike two weeks ago and I love it as well.  Im just gritting my teeth though as I await the summer and the adventures that will unfold therein.

Amazing how 20 year old technology is so much fun. Just goes to show, having a lot of hp is over rated.
Common sense in not very common.

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

its amazing how this bike can hold its own in the canyons but then again, its also the rider. it doesnt have the stability and power of my R6 but the bike is a joy to ride. you feel every inputs that you give the bike so you are forced to be smooth and it teaches you how to carry your speed around a corner. i think riding the gs has made me a smoother on my R6.
