Remember the radiation guy?  Wasn't he pretty sick?  My thought is maybe Sylar got to him and somehow in their fight, Peter picked up the radiation powers.
He wasn't sick; frustrated, nervous and sweaty, yes.

Sylar hasn't gotten to him, yet, otherwise he would've used the burning powers to melt the glass.

Remember, the one girl who could remember things from the restaraunt?  She stated that she had a brain tumor to Hiro.

Now, wouldn't a sudden brain tumor make Peter kinda sick quickly?

Sylar stated that he could see how things work, and he could "see" what gave others their powers.  When he killed his first victim, he said something like, "There's something wrong with you, but I can fix it..."

Since we know that Sylar is somehow able to manipulate his own brain, so that he can have the ability of the victim, is it possible he is giving himself tumors?

...And, that's why Peter got sick?

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I think Peters power is not only to emulate others but also precognition... He had dreams of his brothers first flight, his bosses death, as well as others.  So I believe that his main power is precognition, but he has been so focus on thinking he can only copy others that he hasn't honed his.  Others have practiced theirs but he has only used it sparingly and then, not even trying.
I would have to say that Hiro is my favorite character, and I wonder if that painting is of him in a museum or something.  For example Sylar is there and he "pops" in to be surprised by the dinosaur exhibit.
I think the bomb is an attempt to kill Sylar.  Radiation guy gets informed about Sylar and he somehow gets it in his head that nothing short of going nuclear will stop Sylar.
I don't know where all this is going but after the first show, I've got my round trip ticket in hand and won't miss it for anything, well almost anything but I still tape it.

HmMMMmmm...precognition would be far more valuable than the Painter's painting of the future; the painting is of something far into the future, the details on how to get there are not there.  Same thing could be said of precognition, but for now let's 'suppose' that it allows for a more fluid understanding of the future.

We first thought that Sylar was going to be the bomb, but now we see Peter potentially having the ability.  The bomb being an attempt to kill Sylar, may indeed be that.  Suppose this: Sylar kills the Radiation guy, absorbing his powers, Peter confronts Sylar and emulates Sylar's powers, powers up the radiation to blow up himself and Sylar.

The Painter is killed before the blast, probably before the Radiation guy is killed.  Sylar will be able to paint the future; I'm gonna bet...just one painting.

Yes, I was thinking that same thing.
Same here...  I like the tumor theory...

I wanted to watch the show when it first came out and i missed all of them so i said forget it.... (i did the same thing with LOST.) But i found the website that has a Metric a$$ ton of movie and TV shows that you can watch and i watched the first heros........ and i was hooked. The wait was horrible between that last episode they had on the website and when "six month ago" came on. It was rough.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof, is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools....

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

I don't know, I just don't think that the vision of him using the power is actually what it means.  I believe it is more of a symbolic representation of events to happen than how it will actually happen.  What if it was a planted thought by the Haitian?  I mean he can repress memories why couldn't he implant them also?
One thing I do believe is that Hiro will be the one to kill Sylar as he would not be able to use his vast powers against someone who could stop time and cut off his head (there can be only one! as lightning strikes him).  The explosion is something that I think they are not drawing any links to until the show nears its conclusion.  I mean there are allot of character plots that are scattered and will inevitably be tied together.  So I think we are a ways off from the actual bomb, and even knowing its precursors.  I mean how does Niki, the ghost guy, and their son tie in?  There has to be something.  And what about the mobster guy who seems to be in the shadows of niki's past as well as fly boys?  I bet he is a mutant too; I say mutant because this reminds me of a well written x-men rehash.  Could the mobster be the one that HRG works for???

Man I can't wait till it starts back up.. I'm so impatient.

When I saw him as the father, I was like Sulu?  So now it makes since, they are alien experiments produced by the enterprise.

No but seriously, I didn't see Peter's brother as Claire's father, thats a twist.  Also how Peter can still use the powers of others even when he isn't around them, that is definitely interesting also.  I am still interested to see who Linderman is and how he fits into all this.

He may still be.  Think about what Linderman said to Petrelli (the older one): "We had a group, but some used their powers for personal gain...".

Now, think about this: Is it 'bad' that Peter meets Jessica, and absorbs her power?  Is that a timeline that Hiro should prevent?  I mean, does he blow up New York because he meets Jessica (and can't control her power, so he goes 'bad'?)?

Niki/Jessica's power isn't being crazy... It's being bad-ass...  She's strong and fast as hell.

natedawg120

Man I must have been plastered last night cause I forgot there was a heros thread and made another one  .  Anyway, i would like to add that Niki/Jessica's abilty is only accessible to Niki's personality.  And Niki isn't all bad as last nights episode showed us, Syler on the other hand is completly f-ed in the head.  Man I am totally addicted................ I hate TV...........
