i have an old suzuki gs550 1983 and a suzuky saler said me that my
Rectifier Assy is dead?

what is a Rectifier Assy?

The Rectifier on a motorcycle converts the AC current from the generator/alternator to a DC current also the same device controls the amount of charge generated with a regulator , this device is usually under the side panels and is aluminuim with cooling fins on it , hope that helps
