I have been reading the previous threads and I am considering this mod.  I have found a 98-04 kat shock however it has the resivor canister.  I have read that if the shock is supposed to have it then make sure it does b/c they are hard to replace.  I have also read that with the cansiter, the swap gets a bit more complicated.  Is this true? Would I be better off getting a shock without the resivor or is it better to have it and what kind of complications am I going to run into. (if any, I was just pulling bits and pieces from the different topics b/c there are so many) Thanks for your help

The Kat 750 shock with the canister will not fit without modification.  Plus, you have to figure out a mounting location for the reservoir.
