Any one know any thing about the UM bikes like the 250r it looks sweet and has a 3 yer warranty.

It's a rebadged Hyosung GT250R Comet.

United Motors is nothing but a rebadged Hyosung if I recall correctly.  Its one of these bad boys with a fairing...

... and a more limited warranty.  The hyosung warranty is entirely comprehensive for 2 years.  The um one is only that way for 18 mos and then 18 mos of drivetrain.

That UM250 would be an awsome starter bike for my girlfriend.
