I am re-repainting because my bike blew over in the big windstorm we had in Seattle. I used Acrylic last time and whenever a little drop of gas got on it there would be a stain no matter how fast I wiped it off. There must be something better.
Thanks for any help
PS: There is a cool racing stripe involved in the new paint scheme.

try epoxy we use it at my work on units that will be filled with skydrol oil and if anyone has ever used that crap before knows its strong it will eat the paint right off your car and to get it off you need to sand blast what it spilled on so i would try epoxy plus its thicker and looks dam good if i do say so myself

Thanks Pandy. :) I took some super Serious Pains to get it to look that good. There's Probably 1 can of Orange and at least a Can of Clear coat. Each Coat got Wet Sanded.I Taped the Stripes of several times to get them the Same Height as the Orange. It took me several days of Taking the parts outside and Spraying them and Bringing them in the House to dry in front of the stove.

Whatever you do Don't use Duplicolor from AutoZone. After you get the Base Coat on and Spray on the Clear coat it Turns Milky andWrinkles the base up.I found out the hard way Painting the parts for my GT750.I know of a Guy that used Candy Apple Red To paint one of his Bikes and After he Clear Coated it it turn out Pink.  He Swears it's Ford Iris But everyone teases him about it being Pink.  Yeah he left it that way.
