Hi folks, I'm new here and have a questin already.  We have a 2005 GS500F and my wife wants it a bit lower, I'm thinking about minimum 2", but closer to 4".  I have been having a hard time finding a source here in Canada, but have some machine shop contacts.  My question is, do any of you know what the measurements we would need to make new links to reach our desired elevation?  There are 2 sets listed on e-bay, but the sellers haven't replied to my shipping questions, and I've been burned by bad sellers there before.  Thanking y'all in advance, if I can help with any paint/bodywork questions, I can assist in this area for sure.

Cheers,
Paul

If you are looking for Canadian source for lowering links, give this a try:

http://www.adjustmenttech.com/

They are based in Ontario, and they have two lowering links that are designed to fit GS500. One has two pre-set height (CAD$79), and another more expensive one are fully adjustable (CAD$280). I got the more expensive one and it has been working fine for me.
