I recently bought a vista universal throttle lock. Since the website (http://soundoffrec.com/) says for my 06 gsxr 600 I need the universal one. It does not fit my bike like they say, I have contacted them and they say they do not actually put them on everybike they just make an educated guess.  So I'm pretty sure cyclegear will not return it. Anyway, I'm wondering if another model will it. Any ideas? I really want to stay away from throttlemeister, not only are they expensive, they look dificult to operate while riding and keeping a steady speed. I'm thinking getting the 'NEP' version.

cyclegear should take it back and refund you your money.

Its tantamount to false advertising.  Ride the bike down there, and show them why it won't work, and show them that its listed as being the correct one for the model.

+1, unless they have a disclaimer that it MAY NOT fit, but websites usually do not have that.

There is a screw under the thottle housing, so i'm pretty sure that the regular vista cruise will fit on there with that, hopefully, we'll see. The packaging is kinda torn up, that's why i wasn't sure if they would take it back. It was some pretty shitty packaging.

packaging is irrellevent.  As long as the actual product is returned in sellable condition they can't legally deny a full refund unless, as stated earlier, a disclaimer stating it was the buyer's risk was presented BEFORE payment.
