Marietta Motorsports (better known as Fastlap, or Marmo) has Woodcraft rearsets for the GS in stock. Just say them there yesterday. A friend was getting a new rear tire, and they beat all the online prices. Got a quote on the rearsets for a R1 - $199. If you can find it cheap online, they'll probably match the price.

I have custom rearsets available as well. Uses the Woodcraft footpegs and all the GS stock stuff. $150 with pegs, $100 without. I'll include shipping in that price as well to all GSTwin.com board folks.

Beat that MARMO!

Hit me with a PM if you want some.

BTW-Piper5177 bought a set and had positive things to say about them.

Do we have to make our own shifter linkage for that price? What pegs for the $150 vs the $100? What pegs can we use if we opt out on the pegs? Any pics of them on a bike?

Stock shifter linkage should work. I'm using a stock shifter. Piper is using a stock shift lever. Pam_G had some minor issues using the stock lever on the race bike last year (same rearsets). I weara size 10.5-11 boot.

The rearset mounts are designed to use the Woodcraft pegs. Woodcraft pegs are universal for all of their rearsets. You can buy them yourself for $24.99 each from kneedraggers.com or MARMO. As for other pegs, you are on your own. The Woodcraft product is high quality and I personally wouldn't think of trying anything else.

Go to Piper's web site and scroll to the bottom of the page for an installed pic.

I see on the shifter now, some reason I was thinking the shifter was attached to the rearsets like some I have seen.

How much do these change, 1" up and back? or more?

About 1" back and 1" up. If these footpegs touch down, you and the bike will have probably parted ways by then. ;)

I have Greg's rearsets, and I can scrape the side of my boots on the ground and probably my handle bar if I really wanted to.  They are sweet and super light.

On the rearset pics on the WOF did you just not put the heelguards back on or wont they work with Greg's rearsets?

You either need to tap the holes for the screws, or drill a bigger hole and through bolt them not a big deal.  I am just lazy about it, maybe I'll try to find some aluminum heelgaurds cause I am not to fond of the stock ones.

The holes are there. I will tap them before sending the rearsets out. So far, all of my rearsets have been used on racebikes without heelguards, so I didn't realize the omission. Thanks to Piper for bringing it to my attention.
