Thanks people, I've never done anything like it before but I hope i live up to expectation.

I was bitterly dissapointed to discover that the job does not come with a ceremonial helmet with ostrich feathers but i will just have to learn to live with it.

Glad to have you aboard, Cal!  Sorry about the helmet, that truly is disappointing.

I am so glad srinath says there IS a helmet, if all else fails we can pretend it it a cricket helmet and discuss the soon up-coming world cup. Who do you fancy then Srinath ? red hot favourites Oz, just beaten three-on-the-bounce by hitherto hapless England, dark horse big hitters Sri-Lanka or will India get your vote not forgetting of course the Kiwis, Springboks, Pakistan, Windies etc etc......Chess with violence, nothing compares.
