2) Don't smoke anything with nicotine in it.
3) Start drinking beer about 10 hours before you need to wake up.

Oh yeah... And...  Actually get into bed and turn the lights off about 8.5 hours before you have to wake up...  And don't get out, except to pee.

don't feel bad NGFL, ever since i worked nights @ sea world last summer, i can't go to sleep until 3-4, generally it's 5-6. Luckily i never have to wake up before 10am so i end up getting enough sleep most of the time. Insomnia sucks when no one else you live with has it.

It's also alternative slang for a derogatory word describing part of a woman's genetalia which adequately describes what I think of you guys and your whining about not being able to sleep.  I've been asked, politely, not use that particular word, though, so I do not.

Derogatory?  Really?  Wow...  Whoever thinks that word is derogatory must have sand in their cooter...    

I think Cooter is pretty damn mild...  I can think of FAR more derogatory terms...  But, I'd send this thread straight to the TF.

The definition of "derogatory" is to simply speak low of, and some people do find the word offensive.  Whether it's barely derogatory, mildly derogatory, or extremely derogatory, it's still derogatory.  There certainly are more colorful words, but "cooter" does the job.

I've had a small collection of hatchet wound songs for a little while.  If it wasn't for "dr rock" the whole back would be hit-able, too.

Makenzie, Cooter is really a derogatory word? I've been going around the office all afternoon calling people cooters because I thought it just meant a cute little turtle.
