Hello all-

I'm returning to biking after a two-year hiatus and looking hard at getting a gs500.  My last ride was an EX500, which was nice and fast enough but kinda...fugly.  I don't think I'm ready for a 600 or a bigger sport bike, so I figure I'd try the *other* 500 out there first.  I like the simplicity and good looks of the gs.  I'm planning to put some money into suspension work (if I can't find one that has it done already) and hit the canyons and maybe the track too...

So...with that in mind I'm off to the Wanted forum.  If anyone has a nice unfaired gs for sale in the PNW somewhere, let me know.

Once I get my GS up and runnin again we'll have to go for a ride.  Good luck on the GS hunt.  I picked up my 91 for $400 on craigslist.  It ran, but not well.  It needed all the usual ( tires, chain, sprocket, and a general tune up )  I didn't mind the work.

I'm in Seattle...  That's kinda close...
